The Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is a comprehensive land- and water- use program that aims to identify issues and opportunities affecting a municipality's water body. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, improving and renovation of the physical water body itself (i.e. dredging of the water or cultivation of land around the area), economic opportunities (i.e. how can the waterfront be utilized to boost the economy of the municipality?), and residential and leisure activities.
The Village of Montour Falls has partnered up with Indigo River to formulate a LWRP plan and would like YOUR input, as this is a community effort! Please check out the documents below and feel free to take the surveys and add any ideas you may have to improve the Montour Falls waterfront!
**We would also like to thank everyone who came out to the Public Engagement at the Montour Falls Fire Hall on December 5th. We had an excellent turnout, and many great ideas were left by local residents! Remember, the more ideas we have, the better we can come up with ways to improve the waterfront!
Survey
If you live in the Village, please take a few minutes to review the documents below and complete the following survey if you were not able to attend the Public Engagement on December 5th. These were the same items that were shared and reviewed at the Engagement event. If you have any ideas on any of these, please take a moment to review the survey and leave a quick answer!
